At the Fair Earth Foundation we believe a vital skill in life is being able to honestly and impartially tell stories from people, cultures, communities and nature all over the world. Filmmaking is an invaluable skill in all professions, especially in conservation and research. This course will enable you to enhance your filmmaking skill and tell stories that make a REAL difference.
Working with professional film making studios with state of the art equipment, cameras, editing software, green screens, sound studios and more, this course is designed for people wanting to learn film making techniques on the beautiful sunny island of Tenerife. A chance to experience unique locations, wildlife and cultures. Learn from accredited film making professionals and leave with a show reel of shots and a short film. You will also learn the ins and outs of post-production and video editing.
Not only this, but by taking this course you will have a chance to have your films displayed on the Fair Earth Foundation channels and at the London Eco Film Festival (LEFF) a unique chance to join a community of like minded creatives. We will give you the opportunity to create the film of your dreams, around the Fair Earth foundation central theme of Global Citizenship, including films about environmental, social and other global issues that the Fair Earth Foundation is involved in trying to overcome; something we can’t do without YOUR help.
The ability to take a good photograph is infinitely useful across all professional disciplines. Conservation is no different. A photo tells a story of a thousand words, especially ringing true when it comes to raising awareness and making REAL difference in the world of conservation. This is why we believe that knowing the basics of photography can help you in any career path or it might just turn out to be your new favourite hobby.
Designed for beginner/intermediate photographers wanting to learn some techniques in the field and build up a portfolio of nature, culture and landscape photographs.
