About Jessica

After graduating from Queen's University Belfast in July 2023 with a 1st class BA Honours in Film Studies and Production I moved to London to progress my knowledge of the film industry and connect with a friendly network of creatives. During my studies, I have written and directed over five short films, most of which have been shown at notable Irish and international festivals. I have experience as a shadowing director and PA at NightStaff, a Belfast-based documentary production company, along with various other Runner/Trainee AD credits. ​ I pride myself on being a very open, vulnerable, and inclusive creative. My upbringing helps shape a lot of my work as I am highly interested in exploring my Stoke-based working-class heritage and my maternal line. I write and direct from a place of self-discovery and am always open to collaborating with like-minded creatives. ​
